CAMERON ESTATES COMMUNITY SERVICES DISTRICT ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Please consider running for the office of Board Director for our District. There will be 3 openings for the November 2026 election: Three full term positions that will expire 12/06/2030. Road construction experience is not needed but is helpful. The CECSD consists of a 5-member board whose primary authority is the construction and maintenance of the roadways and easements. Board meetings occur bimonthly and board members are paid $80 per regular meeting. It does not cost anything to run for the position and you will be given training if elected.

If you are a registered voter living in the District, you can pick up a Declaration of Candidacy form available at the El Dorado County Elections Department at 3883 Ponderosa Road, Shingle Springs beginning July 13. The form must be filed at the Elections Department in person by August 7 at 5 pm.  You can find more information and the forms in the website https://www.eldoradocounty.ca.gov/County-Government/Elections

Cameron Estates Community Services District Board of Directors meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of every other month, at Light of the Hills Lutheran Church. The next regular meeting will be September 17, 2026. The CECSD Board Meeting will be held at Light of the Hills Lutheran Church, 3100 Rodeo Road, at 7:00 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose room, and residents are welcome.  Members of the public may address the Board in person during the public comment periods.  If you feel unwell, please don't attend the meeting. The agenda for the September 17, 2026 Board Meeting will be available in the plastic folder boxes behind the green monuments located at each of the three gate entrances and posted on the CECSD website, 72 hours prior to the meeting, on Monday,  September 14, 2026. To get the Agenda, click on Most Recent Agenda under the BOARD MEETING link on the home page. The meeting documents will be available on the website as well. To get the documents click on the MEETINGS tab, search for the Meeting date, and click the meeting zip file. If you can not view or download the Agenda or relevant documents call the District Office at (530) 677-5889 and ask for the Agenda and/or documents to be emailed to you.
